The Protective cover STAY for outdoor daybed 120 × 190 cm Blomus is designed for relaxed outdoor living where everything stays visually calm. On a timber deck, beside a pool or on a city balcony, it slips over your STAY daybed when you have finished lounging, turning the bed into a soft, neutral block that blends into the background. The pale grey-beige fabric keeps attention on the landscape, plants and architecture rather than the furniture itself. Delivered without the daybed, the cover folds neatly into a compact rectangle that can be stored on a shelf, in a bench box or in a garden cabinet. Its generous cut matches the daybed’s footprint, so you avoid trailing corners or excessive volume. This cover becomes a quietly practical companion to the STAY daybed, ideal for those who like an orderly terrace but prefer not to fuss with complicated solutions.
Visually, the STAY protective cover is all about calm simplicity. The pale neutral textile, somewhere between light grey and stone, creates a soft, understated surface that works with virtually any outdoor palette. Folded, the cover forms a clean, low bundle with smooth edges, immediately conveying a sense of order. Spread over the 120 × 190 cm outdoor daybed, it becomes a pure rectangle with a height of about 40 cm, reading almost like a minimal block of colour in the space. There are no visible patterns, only a matte synthetic weave that catches light gently without glare. This restraint lets the surrounding materials – wood decking, gravel, tiles, greenery – stand out while the bed recedes visually. The overall look is contemporary and unfussy, with proportions carefully tuned to the daybed so the cover neither clings too tightly nor billows excessively.
The STAY protective cover is ideal wherever a 120 × 190 cm outdoor daybed structures your living space: a sun deck, pool terrace, penthouse balcony or sheltered patio. Laid over the bed, it creates a regular, rectangular volume that tucks neatly along a wall, railing or pergola post, keeping circulation routes clear. In a larger lounge area combining sofas, side tables and pieces from our broader range of outdoor daybeds and lounge chairs, the covered bed reads as a simple neutral block when not in use, so the area never feels cluttered. The 40 cm height suits low-slung outdoor compositions and allows you to place planters, lanterns or side tables close by without visual competition. This cover particularly suits multi-use spaces where the terrace alternates between open entertaining mode and a more streamlined, tidied appearance.
Because the STAY cover is so quietly neutral, it becomes an anchor for long-term visual coherence on your terrace. Its pale grey-stone tone pairs effortlessly with warm woods, dark metal frames, terracotta pots or black architectural accents, acting as a balancing element between contrasting materials. If your cushions and textiles on the daybed are colourful or patterned, covering them transforms the composition back into a calm base whenever you want a cleaner look. Over time, as you update rugs, planters or side tables, the cover will continue to integrate smoothly thanks to its restrained character. Consider repeating its hue in smaller accessories, such as candle holders or plant pots, to create subtle links across the space. The regular 120 × 190 cm footprint also helps structure future rearrangements, providing a fixed, reliable visual module around which the rest of your outdoor layout can evolve.
