Cocoon Armchair Ribbed Fabric Coffee Brown MONTY

The MONTY armchair by Richmond Interiors takes the spirit of the collection’s sofa and reinterprets it in a cocoon-like silhouette, upholstered in the same coffee-brown ribbed fabric whose wide vertical ribs set the rhythm across the entire seat. Its round, enveloping shape literally wraps the body in itself, for an immediate feeling of comfort as soon as you sit down. With a height of 70 centimetres, a width of 120 centimetres and a depth of 100 centimetres, this armchair offers a deep seat that invites you to sink in for a moment of reading or relaxation. Handcrafted, it bears the subtle marks of careful craftsmanship, far from mass-produced armchairs. It stands out as a sculptural piece that structures a living room while bringing it a warm texture.

A design that immediately catches the eye

MONTY charms with its coffee-brown ribbed fabric, whose wide vertical ribs create a graphic relief that brings the armchair’s entire silhouette to life. Its cocoon shape, with no sharp angles, creates a continuous line from the backrest to the seat, for a result that is both sculptural and inviting. The foam padding, combined with a plywood and MDF structure, delivers firm comfort that does not sag over time. Its handcrafted production can be seen in the precision of the ribbed stitching, where each piece bears the marks of careful craftsmanship.

Why choose this model for your interior?

• Its coffee-brown ribbed fabric creates a graphic and warm silhouette in the living room.
• Its cocoon shape offers a deep, enveloping seat, ideal for relaxing.
• Its handcrafted production guarantees a level of finish that mass production cannot match.
• It naturally complements the sofa from the same collection for a cohesive set.
• Its ribbed material stands up well to everyday use while remaining soft to the touch.

Which room should you place this armchair in?

MONTY naturally finds its place in a living room, where its coffee-brown ribbed fabric brings a warm texture against light-coloured walls. It works just as well with a solid wood coffee table as with more contemporary black metal lines, and suits both a Scandinavian interior and a space with more classic accents. Paired with the sofa from the same collection, it completes a harmonious seating area, or stands alone in a reading corner. In a living room or living space, this armchair immediately brings a warm, textured touch to the room.

An ideal choice for a bold interior

Investing in an armchair like MONTY means choosing a sculptural piece designed to last, far from generic armchairs that all look alike. Its handcrafted production guarantees a unique result where each rib bears the marks of careful craftsmanship, while its cocoon shape delivers comfort rarely matched in this price range. This armchair fits into many living room layouts, as practical as it is enjoyable to live with every day. An ideal choice for a room that asserts its style season after season.
