Set of 2 flame-retardant taupe chenille dining chairs CECILIA

The set of two CECILIA dining chairs by Richmond Interiors features flame-retardant taupe chenille fabric and a backrest with a round cut-out for a striking effect. This circular detail, discreet and elegant, visually lightens the backrest while adding a contemporary touch to the silhouette. Mounted on a metal frame with refined finishes, these 50-centimetre-wide chairs combine plush comfort with graphic character. The certified flame-retardant chenille fabric, in a mineral taupe shade, subtly catches the light and brings understated elegance to any room. Sold in a set of two, they make it easy to furnish a dining table quickly while maintaining perfect visual harmony and enhanced safety. These CECILIA chairs fit just as well around a large family table as in a public-facing space.

A design that immediately catches the eye

From the very first glance, the CECILIA chair stands out with a light silhouette thanks to the round opening discreetly cut into its backrest. This circular detail, both aesthetic and functional, visually lightens the chair while giving it a decidedly contemporary character. The taupe chenille fabric, chosen for its mineral tone and slightly irregular texture, dresses the seat and backrest in a subtle colour that works with many settings. The four slim metal legs, with their carefully finished details, anchor the chair to the floor with elegance without ever weighing down the silhouette. With a seat height of 48 centimetres and a depth of 48 centimetres, this chair offers generous comfort suited to prolonged sitting. Sold in a set of two, it makes it easy to quickly harmonise an entire dining table.

Which room should this product be installed in?

The CECILIA chairs naturally find their place around a dining table, where their light silhouette and mineral taupe shade pair beautifully with many table styles. Placed in an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, they bring a contemporary and understated touch without ever visually weighing down the space. In a spacious dining room, several pairs of aligned CECILIA chairs create a harmonious and understated setting around a large family table. Their taupe shade works particularly well with light-coloured walls, which they gently structure through contrast, but also with darker tones, where they create a coherent mineral look. Thanks to their flame-retardant fabric, they are also suitable for public-facing spaces where safety is essential. Whether arranged in a row around a large table or in smaller numbers in a dining nook, these CECILIA chairs blend in with the same elegance.

An ideal choice for a bold interior

Investing in chairs like CECILIA means choosing light, safe pieces designed to last, far from standardised dining chairs that lack character. Their metal frame ensures long-lasting durability, an essential criterion for seating intended for intensive everyday use. The certified flame-retardant taupe chenille fabric, chosen for its mineral tone and enhanced safety, stands the test of trends without ever looking dated and continues to bring character to the room years after installation. This is not just a pair of chairs, but a truly graphic duo capable of bringing visual lightness to an interior while meeting safety requirements. Their openwork backrest also makes them an original choice, designed to stand out from classic models. By focusing on quality materials and an airy silhouette, these CECILIA chairs establish themselves as a lasting decorative investment, for an interior that reflects a certain art of living, where every detail matters.
