Console table GLORIA black marble-look stoneware KARE Design

The Console table GLORIA black marble-look stoneware KARE Design instantly brings structure to a hallway or behind a contemporary sofa. Its slim rectangular top, in deep dark-grey stoneware with a marble-style pattern, rests on two sharply folded black supports that read like sculptural lines. At 140 cm long, it offers enough surface to stage a lamp, a stack of books and a few carefully chosen objects without cluttering the space. The narrow 45 cm depth keeps circulation easy, while the 81 cm height aligns well with most side lighting or artwork hung just above. Placed against a plain wall, the strong horizontal line of the top and the distinctive geometry of the legs create a striking focal point. Whether you use it as an entrance console, a display table or a slim sideboard alternative, GLORIA adds a refined graphic accent to modern interiors.

Visual design and graphic impact

The Console table GLORIA black marble-look stoneware KARE Design is defined by a particularly slender rectangular top, stretched out like a dark bar across the wall. The stoneware surface presents a deep charcoal tone with subtle marble-like veining, giving the piece a quietly luxurious character rather than a showy finish. Below, two black supports form sharply bent, angular shapes that appear almost like folded steel profiles. Positioned toward the ends of the console, they frame the top while leaving a generous, open space in the centre, which lightens the composition. From the side, these folded legs draw a zigzag silhouette that contrasts with the calm, flat slab of the top. The meeting of mineral-looking stoneware and smooth black metal gives the console a distinctly architectural presence, ideal for adding structure to minimalist rooms or to calm more eclectic décors.

Why this piece stands out

• Elegant dark-grey stoneware top with marble-look veining, offering a refined mineral appearance that pairs easily with many interior colour palettes.
• Two sculptural black metal supports, sharply folded, give the console a strong architectural identity even when styled with very few accessories.
• Generous 140 cm length allows impactful arrangements of lamps, books and objects while still feeling visually light and deliberately composed.
• Modest 45 cm depth keeps walkways comfortable in hallways and behind sofas, maintaining flow without sacrificing presence or display space.
• 81 cm height aligns well with typical console styling, ideal for pairing with mirrors, artworks and table lamps placed along the top surface.

Where to place it

With its elongated 140 × 45 cm footprint, the Console table GLORIA black marble-look stoneware KARE Design is perfectly suited to transitional spaces and long walls. In an entrance hall, centre it on a blank wall and hang a vertical mirror or artwork slightly narrower than the top to echo its proportions. A slim table lamp and a shallow bowl for keys will be enough to activate the surface without hiding the distinctive legs. Behind a sofa, GLORIA acts as a visual bridge between seating and wall, providing a platform for lighting and decorative accents. In a dining area, it can serve as a narrow serving console against the wall. Lasting decorative cohesion

The Console table GLORIA black marble-look stoneware KARE Design offers a strong yet neutral base that supports evolving decorative schemes over the years. Its dark stoneware top combines effortlessly with pale walls, warm wood floors or polished concrete, adapting to both cool and warm palettes. The black angular supports resonate with other slim metal elements such as floor lamps, chair frames or picture rails, helping you create a coherent language of lines throughout the room. You can initially pair GLORIA with monochrome accessories, then gradually introduce coloured glass, brass accents or textured ceramics without overwhelming the piece. If you later rearrange your space, the console can migrate from hallway to living room or dining area while maintaining visual continuity. By repeating touches of charcoal, black and soft white around it, you ensure GLORIA remains a calm anchor as your furniture and artwork change.
