Geometric pattern oak and travertine column CLAREMONT

The CLAREMONT column by Richmond Interiors makes a sculptural statement thanks to its wooden pedestal adorned with a raised geometric pattern. Crafted from oak, oak veneer and travertine, this decorative piece standing 90 centimetres high combines artisanal craftsmanship with premium finishes. Each side of the pedestal features a diamond faceted design that catches the light from changing angles throughout the day. Its travertine top, with a natural mineral texture, offers a sturdy surface ideal for displaying a decorative object, a plant or a sculpture. Designed for interiors seeking a piece that is both functional and sculptural, this CLAREMONT column fits just as well in a living room as in an entrance hall or corridor.

A design that immediately catches the eye

At first glance, the CLAREMONT column makes a graphic statement thanks to the raised geometric pattern that covers each of its sides. This diamond faceted design, carved from solid oak and oak veneer, creates an interplay of light and shadow that adds depth to the pedestal as a whole. The travertine top, with its natural veined texture, brings a mineral touch that contrasts elegantly with the richness of the carved wood. With a square base measuring 37 centimetres on each side, this column remains compact enough to fit into a corner without ever appearing imposing. Its net weight of 27.3 kilograms reflects solid construction, designed to support a decorative object or sculpture over time. This vertical, sculpted silhouette reflects artisanal craftsmanship that makes each piece slightly unique.

Which room should this product be installed in?

The CLAREMONT column naturally finds its place in a living room corner, where its sculpted pedestal becomes a display point for a plant, sculpture or vase. Placed in an entrance hall, it welcomes a decorative object that sets the tone for the décor from the moment you step through the door. In a wide corridor, it can also serve as a luminous landmark, paired with a lamp placed on its travertine top. Its wood tone and mineral texture work particularly well with light walls, which it warms by contrast, but also with darker shades, where it creates a refined interplay of materials. In a contemporary living room, this column adds a sculptural touch that enhances the whole space. Whether in a bold contemporary interior or a more classic décor, this decorative piece blends in with the same elegance.

An ideal choice for a distinctive décor

Investing in a column like CLAREMONT means choosing a decorative piece designed to last, far from standardised pedestals that lack character. Its solid oak structure ensures long-lasting durability, an essential criterion for furniture intended for everyday use. The sculpted geometric pattern, chosen for its relief and visual depth, transcends trends without ever looking dated and continues to bring character to the room years after installation. This is not just a pedestal, but a true sculptural piece capable of structuring a living room corner or entrance hall with confidence. Its travertine top also makes it a durable and stylish choice, designed to display your favourite objects every day. By focusing on noble materials and artisanal craftsmanship, this CLAREMONT column stands out as a lasting décor investment, for an interior that reflects a certain art of living, where every detail matters.
