The Rechargeable outdoor floor lamp BORO anthracite Sompex introduces a slim, architectural line to patios, decks and balconies. Its tall, pencil-thin stem rises from a flat round base and supports a clean, disk-shaped head that seems to hover above the ground. Placed beside a low outdoor sofa in a corner of the terrace, it becomes a vertical accent that frames the seating without blocking the view. The anthracite finish gives the lamp a discreet, urban character that blends with dark window frames, steel railings or charcoal planters. Because it is rechargeable, you can position it more freely near a lounge set or at the end of an outdoor dining table, without worrying about visible cables. In a narrow balcony, its small footprint keeps the floor clear while its height brings light to the center of the scene, drawing attention to your favourite spot outside.
The BORO stands out through its strict, geometric silhouette. A very slender stem rises vertically from a flat circular base and ends in a horizontal disk that houses the light. This clear composition of line and circle reads almost like a graphic drawing in space. The anthracite colour is deep and understated, allowing the lamp to recede against dark façades while still creating a precise outline at dusk. The contrast between the delicate stem and the more visible, plate-like head gives the piece a contemporary attitude without appearing bulky. The base is proportioned to look light yet visually grounded, echoing the diameter of the top for a balanced profile. Together, these elements form a tall, graceful floor lamp that can sit quietly by a sliding door, at the corner of a lounge set, or as a marker along the edge of a terrace.
The BORO’s generous height and discreet footprint make it especially suitable for framing seating areas. On a terrace, place it behind a corner of your outdoor sofa so the stem rises just beyond the backrest, creating a soft vertical emphasis without intruding on the conversation zone. Along an outdoor dining table, position one lamp at each end to mark the area and bring light closer to plates and serving boards. On a long balcony, use the base against the wall or balustrade, leaving circulation space free while the light reaches the center. In a small courtyard, one BORO beside a lounge chair provides a simple reading or relaxing atmosphere. To coordinate with other designs and heights, explore our broader selection of outdoor floor lamps and build a layered lighting composition.
Because of its minimalist form and anthracite tone, the BORO is an easy anchor for a long-lasting outdoor scheme. Use it as a neutral vertical element and repeat similar dark accents through chair frames, lanterns or side tables to create a coherent structure. Around this framework, you can freely change cushions, outdoor rugs or plant selections from season to season without disrupting the underlying balance. The lamp’s circular top and base offer a clear shape language that you can echo with round coffee tables, curved planters or circular tray tables. If you later rearrange the terrace layout, the BORO can move to a new focal point: highlighting a daybed one year, then marking the entrance to a lounge corner the next, always tying together the surrounding colours and forms with its calm, linear presence.
