Design and materials: the CATALAN outdoor dining chair

The silhouette of the CATALAN chair stands out thanks to its openwork backrest, whose graphic lines in natural wood-effect aluminium create an airy and instantly recognisable structure. The seat and backrest, padded with generous foam and upholstered in a textured ecru fabric, invite relaxation from the very first glance. The curved armrests, a natural extension of the frame, support the forearms without ever restricting movement during a long meal. This contrast between the lightness of the openwork backrest and the density of the padded fabric gives CATALAN a distinctly contemporary and airy elegance. The chair thus asserts a unique graphic personality, capable of structuring an outdoor dining setting all on its own. This openwork silhouette gives the CATALAN chair a look that is as light as it is comfortable, meal after meal.

Why choose the CATALAN outdoor dining chair?

• An openwork backrest in natural wood-effect aluminium, for an airy and instantly recognisable structure on the outdoor terrace.
• A padded seat and backrest, upholstered in a textured ecru fabric that is water-resistant for year-round outdoor use.
• Curved armrests that naturally support the forearms, for long meals in a relaxed and sociable summer atmosphere.
• A frost-resistant certified aluminium frame, designed to withstand the seasons without fearing outdoor weather conditions.
• A compact 63.5 by 61.5 centimetre format, ideal for creating a generous outdoor dining setting without excessive bulk.

Where to place the CATALAN outdoor dining chair?

The CATALAN chair naturally finds its place around an outdoor dining table, where its openwork backrest visually lightens a generous table setting without ever weighing it down. On a covered terrace, it is just as suited to Sunday brunches as it is to dinners with friends that stretch late into the evening. Placed around a ceramic stoneware table, it harmoniously completes a mineral-inspired setting with a warm and comfortable textile touch. In a tree-filled garden, it benefits from a natural setting that highlights its wood effect and its airy, contemporary graphic lines. It naturally pairs with other pieces in light aluminium or ecru fabric, for a cohesive arrangement that extends across the entire terrace. This chair thus enhances every outdoor meal with refined, lasting comfort, season after season and year after year.
