Set of three side tables ELECTRA textured tops KARE Design

The set of three side tables ELECTRA textured tops KARE Design instantly gives structure and rhythm to a living area without weighing it down. Their airy silhouettes are perfect beside a corner sofa, flanking a compact two-seater, or punctuating a reading nook near a window. The dark, textured round tops bring depth to a neutral rug, while the slim black legs and open circular bases keep the floor clearly visible, maintaining a feeling of openness. Nest the three tables in front of the sofa for a flexible alternative to a bulky coffee table, or separate them to serve each seat individually. In a small apartment, they easily slide along the wall when you need extra space; in a larger room, they help organise zones around the sofa, armchairs and a floor lamp, providing practical surfaces exactly where you reach for a book, a drink or a candle.

Visual design and aesthetic details

The ELECTRA side tables are all about balanced proportions and graphic clarity. Each table features a circular dark top with a pronounced texture that subtly catches light, suggesting a lightly hammered or grainy surface rather than a perfectly smooth disc. This tactile finish contrasts with the strict verticality of the slender black legs, arranged in a triangular formation around a low circular ring. That open ring grounds the shape while allowing the eye to see right through, so the design feels anchored yet visually light. The graduated heights create a gentle rising line when the tables overlap, making the set appear like a flowing composition instead of three separate pieces. The differing diameters naturally allocate functions: the widest one as a focal point for books or flowers, the middle for drinks or remote controls, and the smallest as an elegant perch for a candle, sculpture or trailing plant.

Why this set stands out

• Graduated trio of round tables creates a sculptural, layered look that replaces a traditional coffee table with something lighter and more dynamic.
• Dark, textured tops add depth and visual interest, enhancing simple objects like books, candles or vases under natural or lamp light.
• Slender black legs and open circular bases keep plenty of floor visible, preserving a generous sense of space even in compact living rooms.
• Three complementary diameters adapt easily to different uses, from serving snacks to hosting plants, lamps or your favourite decorative statement pieces.
• Contemporary KARE Design aesthetic slips comfortably into industrial, minimalist or eclectic interiors without clashing with existing furniture choices.

Ideal placement in your home

The ELECTRA tables truly shine when you treat them as mobile satellites around your seating. Place the tallest table at the end of the sofa to hold a reading lamp and your current novel, keep the medium table within easy reach of the main seat for drinks, and position the smallest close to an armchair for a candle or small plant. Their compact footprints are particularly helpful in narrow living rooms where circulation paths must stay clear. In an open-plan layout, use the trio to outline the lounge zone alongside a rug and sofa, or to bridge the space between two armchairs. They also work beautifully in a bedroom as asymmetric bedside tables. Lasting decorative coherence

Thanks to their dark, textured tops and slim black frames, the ELECTRA side tables offer a strong yet neutral base for evolving décor. Pair them with pale upholstery in sand, light grey or cream for a chic contrast, and echo the black metal with picture frames, a floor lamp or a mirror frame. The textured surfaces resonate nicely with tactile elements like wool rugs, boucle cushions and linen curtains, giving the room a layered, considered feel. Over time, as you move furniture around, each table can take on a new role: plant stand near a window, occasional table in a hallway, or additional surface beside a guest bed. Their clean, graphic lines allow them to bridge different styles, from industrial touches with exposed metal to warmer atmospheres featuring oak, rattan and soft textiles, ensuring your interior keeps a clear visual thread even as it evolves.
