Gold fluted drum structure glass side table RIXO

The RIXO side table by Richmond Interiors combines a round glass top with an openwork cylindrical base in a gold finish, made up of fine vertical aluminium slats that recall the silhouette of a drum. This cage-like structure, both graphic and light, gives the table a contemporary look that makes an immediate statement in a carefully designed interior. With a diameter of 37 centimetres and a height of 52 centimetres, RIXO has slender proportions that allow it to sit just as easily beside a sofa as next to an armchair. This table embodies the idea of an occasional piece that combines function and character, a piece designed to structure a living room with elegance while remaining discreet in everyday use.

A design that immediately catches the eye

At first glance, the RIXO table stands out for the contrast between its transparent glass top, which reveals the structure beneath, and its gold cylindrical base with vertical slats that give the silhouette a rhythm like the ribs of a drum. This vertical repetition, combined with the transparency of the top, creates a composition that is both structured and airy. The way light passes through the slats brings the table to life throughout the day, a detail that sets RIXO apart from side tables with fuller bases. With a net weight of 11.30 kilograms, this table offers a reassuring presence and good stability, an asset for a piece of furniture intended to hold books, drinks or decorative objects every day. Its handcrafted production ensures attention to every detail, from shaping the slats to fitting the glass top.

Which room should this product be placed in?

The RIXO table naturally finds its place in a living room, where it accompanies a sofa or armchair by providing a practical surface for a lamp, a book or a drink. In a bedroom, it can also work as a refined bedside table, bringing a graphic and transparent touch beside the bed. In an entrance hall, it becomes a decorative focal point on which to place a catch-all tray or vase, its openwork base allowing ambient light to pass through. Its transparency works well with light interiors, which it visually lightens without weighing them down, but also with spaces in stronger tones where it adds a touch of lightness. Whether the interior is contemporary, industrial or more classic, this RIXO table fits in with equal ease thanks to its refined and timeless silhouette.

An ideal choice for a bold décor

Investing in a table like RIXO means choosing a refined piece designed to last, far from standardised side tables that lack character. Its aluminium structure ensures lasting quality, an essential criterion for a piece of furniture intended for everyday use. The glass, chosen for its transparency as much as for its modernity, transcends trends without ever looking dated and continues to bring character to the room years after installation. This is not just a side table, but a true statement piece capable of structuring a space with elegance. Its fluted base, combined with quality materials, also makes it a practical as well as decorative choice for any interior. By focusing on the contrast between transparency and graphic structure, this RIXO table stands out as a lasting décor investment, for an interior that reflects a certain art of living, where every detail matters.
