Sompex Delux illuminated LED side table

The Sompex Delux illuminated LED side table is designed to transform a living room corner, slipped neatly beside a contemporary sofa or chaise longue. Its open rectangular aluminium frame becomes a vertical stroke of light that structures the space without adding visual weight. The flat, square top offers just enough surface for a drink, a book or a sculptural object, while the glowing cube beneath turns everyday items into small displays. Open on every side, the table allows the eye and natural light to pass through, helping compact rooms feel more spacious and airy. The integrated LED outline gives the impression that the top is gently floating above a frame made of light rather than solid material. In an entrance hall it works perfectly as a luminous pedestal for keys and mail; in a bedroom it can elegantly replace a conventional bedside table without dominating the room.

Refined minimalist light geometry

The Sompex Delux illuminated LED side table captivates through its slender, almost architectural silhouette. Four upright aluminium members, finished in a subtle silver tone, form an open rectangular frame that behaves more like a drawn line than a block of furniture. The illuminated edges describe a precise cube of light beneath the top, giving the impression that the square surface is floating. Proportions are carefully balanced: the 30 x 30 cm top sits flush with the frame, matching its width so no part visually overhangs. With its 60 cm height, the table stands comfortably at arm level beside most sofas and armchairs, preserving its airy appearance. The metallic finish reads as calm and neutral, allowing the luminous outline to take centre stage. Because the frame is open on every side, what you notice first is the volume of light in the room, not the physical mass of the structure.

Why this side table stands out

• Illuminated cube-shaped frame instantly creates a graphic focal point, adding atmosphere without requiring additional floor lamps or bulky fixtures nearby.
• Slender aluminium construction keeps the piece visually light, making it suitable for compact living rooms, corridors or small studio apartments.
• Square top offers practical space for a lamp, glass or book while maintaining a compact footprint that respects circulation and nearby furniture.
• Open design on all four sides lets surrounding colours and textures remain visible, preventing any sense of clutter against curtains or feature walls.
• Height of 60 cm aligns naturally with many sofa armrests, placing remotes, reading glasses and drinks within comfortable, relaxed reach.

Best places to use this illuminated table

With its 60 cm height and 30 x 30 cm footprint, the Sompex Delux illuminated LED side table is ideal wherever space is at a premium. Position it at the end of a straight sofa to define a subtle reading corner, leaving at least 60 cm of circulation gap between the table and adjacent furniture. In a compact living room, nestle it beside an armchair rather than in the centre of the room to keep traffic lines clear. The luminous frame beautifully highlights a plain rug or darker wooden floor, creating a floating effect. In a wide hallway or entrance, the table becomes a practical, glowing pedestal for keys or a small plant. Maintaining long-term visual harmony

The Sompex Delux illuminated LED side table provides a neutral, luminous base that adapts gracefully as your interior style evolves. The silver-toned aluminium pairs easily with grey, black or deep blue sofas, while also creating a striking contrast with tan leather or earthy textiles. For long-lasting coherence, echo its metallic finish with slim floor lamps, framed mirrors or glass vases displayed on the top. The cube of light works equally well within minimalist, industrial or more cosy settings featuring light woods and substantial fabrics. When you rearrange your room, the open frame makes it simple to reposition the table near a window, alongside a desk or next to the bed without overwhelming existing pieces. To preserve its visual impact, keep the surrounding area relatively uncluttered, allowing the luminous geometry to remain legible and continue acting as a quiet anchor within changing decor schemes.
