Animal table lamp LE CORBEAU black crow on stand with bulb KARE Design

The LE CORBEAU animal table lamp by KARE Design brings a touch of dark poetry to everyday lighting. A black crow stands proudly on a tall, narrow pedestal, holding a bare bulb delicately in its beak. Placed on a hallway console, it greets guests with an intriguing glow and instantly sets the tone of your decor. On a sideboard in the living room, this sculptural lamp becomes a conversation piece, guiding the eye across the wall behind it. Its generous height structures low furniture while the slim footprint keeps the surface visually light. In a reading corner, the crow appears to offer light directly to your book stack or armchair. With its graphic black silhouette and exposed bulb, this lamp suits interiors that dare to mix art object and functional lighting, making it ideal for design-conscious apartments, creative offices, or a characterful bedroom chest of drawers.

Expressive animal design and graphic look

This table lamp stages a finely modelled black crow perched on a slender, elongated stand that elevates the entire composition. The bird’s body shows subtle feather reliefs and curves, catching light and shadow when the bulb is on. A deep, uniform black finish runs from the base to the beak, giving the lamp a strong graphic outline against light or coloured walls. The bare bulb hangs from the crow’s beak, forming a clean vertical line that contrasts with the organic shape of the animal. Proportions are carefully balanced: at 61 cm high with a base roughly 29 cm by 16 cm, it has real presence without dominating the furniture. The tall pedestal visually separates the sculptural crow from the tabletop, almost like a miniature gallery plinth. Overall, the lamp reads as a modern curiosity piece, equally at ease in minimalist settings and more eclectic, story-driven interiors.

Why choose this crow table lamp

• Sculptural crow figure on a slim stand creates an immediate focal point, transforming any simple console or sideboard into a curated display.
• Uniform black finish offers bold contrast against pale walls while remaining easy to coordinate with wood, metal accents and coloured accessories.
• Exposed bulb at the beak produces a theatrical, story-like effect, ideal for creative spaces, reading nooks or characterful entrance areas.
• Generous 61 cm height structures low furniture, adding welcome verticality without requiring additional wall shelving or large artwork pieces.
• Signature KARE Design piece that merges art object and functional accent lighting, perfect for design lovers seeking something striking yet compact.

Where to place your LE CORBEAU lamp

The LE CORBEAU lamp thrives wherever you need both a light source and a strong decorative statement. On a hallway console, place it slightly off-centre, leaving room for a catch-all tray or small plant to balance the composition. In the living room, position it on a low sideboard or media unit so its 61 cm height breaks the horizontal line of your furniture. Above, hang a framed print to echo the lamp’s vertical rhythm. On a desk, anchor it near the corner, letting the bulb cast gentle light across notebooks or a keyboard. In the bedroom, it works particularly well on a chest of drawers, where the crow can "watch over" the room. To explore complementary pieces, browse our curated selection of design table lamps and create layered lighting across your space, combining this striking figure with softer, more discreet fixtures.

Lasting decorative coherence over time

To keep the LE CORBEAU lamp visually relevant as your interior evolves, treat it as a permanent anchor piece within changing arrangements. Its all-black body pairs easily with light oak, walnut, concrete or marble, allowing you to shift styles from Nordic-inspired to more dramatic, moody atmospheres. Combine it with slim black picture frames or a dark side table to create a subtle visual thread between areas of the room. Over time, you can rotate surrounding objects—stacks of books, small vases, decorative boxes—while the crow maintains continuity. Because it stands on a tall pedestal, it also helps link low furniture to taller items like mirrors or shelves. Experiment with different backdrops: plain white for strong contrast, coloured walls for a gallery feel, or patterned wallpaper for a curiosity-cabinet effect. Whatever direction your decor takes, this lamp remains a characterful companion rather than a fleeting trend.
