Sompex PINE aluminium tree lamp 50 cm

The Sompex PINE aluminium tree lamp 50 cm turns the classic Christmas tree into a clean, linear light sculpture. Placed on a sideboard in the living room, it draws a tall triangular outline rather than a solid object, so the wall remains visible through the centre. The slim aluminium frame in silver tones keeps the piece visually light, while the integrated light tracing the inner edge adds a crisp halo. A flat rectangular base anchors the two straight stems that rise and meet at the top to suggest the tree’s apex. This open silhouette makes the lamp easy to combine with existing decorations without creating clutter. It evokes winter and festive evenings through pure geometry rather than ornaments, working just as well in a minimalist apartment as in a more eclectic interior where a discreet but striking seasonal accent is welcome.

Distinctive minimalist tree design

The Sompex PINE aluminium tree lamp 50 cm presents a stylised tree shape reduced to a slender triangular frame. Two upright bars emerge from the rectangular base and converge in a clean angle to form the peak, leaving the inside completely open. The silver aluminium has a smooth, subtly reflective surface that catches ambient light by day and supports the integrated lighting effect by night. The light band follows the inner edge of the triangle, drawing a precise luminous line that seems to hover against the wall. With its 50 cm height and approximate 25 cm width, the lamp has enough scale to stand out without dominating nearby objects. The overall depth is modest, so it can sit close to a wall or windowpane. From the side, the design appears almost like a flat graphic sign, reinforcing the impression of a drawn line transposed into three-dimensional space.

Why this lamp stands out

• Tree motif distilled into a simple triangular contour, ideal for a modern, uncluttered festive mood without traditional figurative decorations.
• Open aluminium outline keeps the visual field light, letting artworks, curtains or wall textures remain visible behind the illuminated shape.
• Inner-edge lighting creates a sharp graphic glow, producing interesting shadows and contrasts on plain, coloured or textured background surfaces.
• Fifty-centimetre height gives presence on consoles and sideboards while still fitting comfortably beneath shelves, frames or wall-mounted storage.
• Flat rectangular base offers a stable footprint that slips easily onto narrow window ledges, bookcases, hallway tables or compact TV units.

Where to place your PINE lamp

With its tall, narrow proportions, the Sompex PINE aluminium tree lamp 50 cm thrives wherever vertical accents are needed without adding bulk. On a hallway console, position it near a mirror edge so the triangular outline is reflected and visually doubled. On a dining room sideboard, place it toward one end to balance a table lamp or cluster of candleholders at the opposite side. Its approximate 25 cm width means it can live happily on slender shelves or window sills, creating a subtle outline visible from indoors and out. In the living room, combine it with other pieces from the table lamp collection to build a layered lighting arrangement at different heights. On a bedroom dresser, the lamp can stand behind perfume bottles or framed photos, lending them a seasonal glow without overwhelming the composition.

Lasting decorative coherence

The Sompex PINE aluminium tree lamp 50 cm is easy to keep in your decor beyond the festive season thanks to its abstract geometry. Pair the silver aluminium with other cool-toned elements such as chrome legs, glass vases or pale grey textiles to create a calm, contemporary rhythm. For more warmth, set it against oak, walnut or woven baskets, letting the crisp line of light contrast with natural textures. Because the interior of the triangle stays empty, whatever colour you paint your wall will instantly change the lamp’s character, from dramatic on deep hues to gentle on soft neutrals. When furniture is rearranged, the lamp can migrate between entryway, living room and bedroom while still connecting these spaces visually. It works as a recurring linear motif that quietly unifies different corners of the home over time.
