Sompex Belly white LED table lamp

The Sompex Belly white LED table lamp turns an ordinary sideboard into a small light stage. Placed on a living room console, this almost spherical lamp instantly reads as a sculptural object before you even switch it on. Its body is built from crisp angular panels that assemble into a polyhedral volume, while triangular openings between them let the LED glow escape. The result is a soft, atmospheric light punctuated by graphic shards on the surrounding wall and surface. In daytime, the pure white silhouette works as a calm accent among books, vases or framed photos. In the evening, it becomes a luminous focal point that defines a cosy zone around the sofa or armchair. With its measured size, it easily finds room in a hallway, on a chest of drawers or at the end of a low cabinet.

Distinctive geometric light sculpture

The Sompex Belly white LED table lamp stands out through its almost spherical yet clearly faceted shape. Numerous flat, angular panels join together to form a polyhedral shell, giving the lamp a crystalline character. Between these solid elements, open triangular gaps appear, acting as windows where the inner light can emerge. This interplay of closed and open surfaces avoids the impression of a heavy solid orb and instead creates a sense of lightness and movement. The homogeneous white finish unifies all the facets, making the silhouette read as one continuous volume while still revealing its construction when you look closely. With an approximate diameter of 30 cm and a height of 27 cm, the lamp asserts itself on a table or console without overwhelming the available space around it. Set a little back from the front edge, it leaves room for a book stack or tray while still reading as the main feature.

Why this Belly lamp is a strong choice

• Polyhedral near-sphere of roughly 30 cm becomes an eye-catching centrepiece on consoles, low cabinets or generous bedside tables at home.
• Open triangular gaps let the LED glow escape in sharp beams, drawing graphic patterns on nearby walls and tabletops in the evening.
• All-white finish pairs effortlessly with pale woods, concrete, colourful books or darker accents, adapting to many interior moods and palettes.
• Height of 27 cm maintains comfortable sightlines across the room, ideal for sideboards, desks or end tables next to a sofa or armchair.
• Sculptural Sompex design ensures the lamp remains decorative when turned off, offering interesting views from different angles in the room.

Where to place your white LED Belly lamp

The balanced dimensions of the Sompex Belly white LED table lamp make it particularly suitable for medium-sized surfaces. On a hallway console, position it towards one end to keep a landing zone free for keys and daily items. In the living room, set it on a low sideboard so its light can wash the wall above, creating a soft backdrop for art or shelves. On an end table by the sofa, it becomes a gentle evening companion, bright enough to define the seating area without dominating it. In a bedroom, it feels at ease on a wide nightstand or a chest of drawers, where the 30 cm volume has room to breathe. Maintaining long-term visual harmony

The crisp geometry of the Sompex Belly white LED table lamp provides a reliable anchor as your interior evolves over time. Its faceted shell naturally echoes other structured elements such as bookshelves, sideboards with clean fronts or slim metal frames. To soften the angular design, combine it with tactile materials like wool throws, linen cushions and light woods, letting the white orb emerge as a calm counterpoint. If you prefer a more graphic aesthetic, pair it with black picture frames, concrete-look surfaces or monochrome accessories that highlight its contours. Because the lamp is visually strong yet neutral in colour, it can migrate from living room to bedroom or office without clashing with new schemes. Wherever it moves, the characteristic pattern of light through the triangular openings will continue to tie different corners of your home together.
