The table lamp FROG grey frog with white shade KARE Design brings playful character to everyday lighting. On a hallway console, it greets guests with a gentle glow and a humorous silhouette that instantly breaks the ice. The sculpted frog leans over the white tapered shade, as if curious about what is happening in the room, turning a simple light source into a small domestic scene. Its round base occupies minimal surface, ideal when space is limited on sideboards, bedside tables or slim desks. The quiet grey and bright white palette blends easily with existing decor, from pale wood and calm neutrals to stronger accent colours. More than a practical lamp, it acts as a graphic object that structures a corner and creates a clear focal point without overwhelming the rest of your arrangement.
This FROG table lamp stands out through its whimsical sculptural figure. The grey frog is positioned high above the shade, leaning forward as if peering into the room. Its elongated body hugs the upper edge of the simple conical shade, while the legs stretch downward toward the small round base, visually connecting top and bottom. The frog’s surface shows subtle modelling, giving volume to the head, back and limbs without excessive detailing. In contrast, the white shade remains deliberately understated, a clean tapered cylinder that diffuses light evenly. The calm grey tone keeps the piece sophisticated rather than cartoonish, allowing the humorous concept to remain tasteful. Thanks to the slender proportions and compact base, the lamp feels vertical and airy rather than bulky, making it easy to position on narrow furniture or in already decorated corners.
The FROG table lamp is perfectly scaled for a hallway console, where its vertical silhouette helps balance a wall mirror or artwork. Place it slightly off-centre to keep the frog visible from the doorway, allowing its inquisitive pose to welcome visitors. In the living room, it works well on a side table next to an armchair, casting comfortable reading light while the figurine becomes a companion during evenings. On a narrow bedside table, the small round base frees space for a book and glass of water. It can also enliven a plain desk or shelf in a home office, softening the work atmosphere. At 57 cm high, the lamp adds noticeable vertical rhythm on consoles or bedside tables while the slim white shade keeps sightlines clear.
To keep this FROG lamp visually relevant as your interiors evolve, use its grey-and-white duet as a discreet reference across the room. Echo the frog’s grey with throws, patterned cushions or small storage boxes in similar tones, and repeat the crisp white with photo frames or ceramics. The mix of organic animal shape and geometric shade pairs beautifully with straight-lined furniture, helping to soften minimal layouts without clutter. Over time, you can move the lamp from console to bedside or office without disrupting your overall style, because its colours stay neutral and adaptable. By coordinating a few accessories around it rather than redesigning everything, the lamp remains a familiar focal point that supports new arrangements and seasonal updates while preserving a coherent, calm atmosphere. Its 23 cm diameter shade stays visually light on compact furniture, ensuring the grey figurine remains clearly outlined against surrounding surfaces and walls.
