Dining table CRYSTAL clear glass and black legs IXIA

The Dining table CRYSTAL clear glass and black legs IXIA turns the dining area into a bright, open focal point. Its rectangular clear-glass top keeps sightlines free, allowing your flooring, rug and chairs to stay fully visible. Placed in the middle of a living-dining room or aligned with a window, the table acts as a calm, transparent surface around which everyday meals and festive evenings naturally gather. The slender black legs flare gently outward, bringing a graphic note that contrasts with the lightness of the glass. Just beneath the top, a warm wood-toned horizontal beam visually links the legs and adds a softer, more domestic feel. This balanced mix of glass, black metal and wood lets CRYSTAL slip into many interiors, from contemporary to eclectic. The 140 x 80 cm format creates a real dining space without visually overfilling the room.

Clear design, between transparency and structure

The CRYSTAL dining table presents a clean, rectangular tabletop in clear glass, making its geometry instantly legible. Light passes through the surface, revealing the base as a deliberately visible design feature rather than something to hide. The black metal legs are tapered and slightly splayed, giving the table a dynamic stance while remaining visually delicate. Their dark colour frames the glass top, outlining it like a crisp graphic line in the room. Under the top, a single horizontal wooden beam spans between the legs, introducing a warm, natural note that eases the contrast between glass and black metal. Proportions are carefully balanced: the top is generous but not heavy, the legs are fine yet present, and the wooden element adds rhythm without becoming bulky. Together they form a piece that feels open and airy, yet still anchored and intentional in its silhouette.

Why this table stands out

• Clear glass top keeps the dining space visually open, showcasing your rug, flooring and chairs instead of blocking light or views.
• Black tapered, splayed legs add a strong graphic line that outlines the table while remaining slender and understated in the room.
• Warm wood-tone beam just below the top introduces a welcoming accent, connecting easily with existing wooden chairs or sideboards.
• Rectangular 140 x 80 cm size offers a comfortable surface for shared meals without overwhelming small to medium open-plan layouts.
• Three-material combination of glass, black metal and wood adapts gracefully to contemporary, industrial, Scandinavian or mixed-style dining settings.

Where and how to place the table

The CRYSTAL dining table fits beautifully in a medium-sized living-dining room where circulation is important. At 140 cm long, it works well centred on a discreet rectangular rug, leaving comfortable space around for chairs to pull back. In an open-plan layout, position it lengthways between kitchen and lounge to create a visual bridge without blocking views. Near a window or patio doors, the clear-glass top lets outdoor light and greenery remain part of the scene. Pair with slim chairs, ideally with open backs, to keep the ensemble light. Black frames, wooden structures or a mix of the two will echo the base. For additional inspiration on pairing it within a set, explore the curated selection in the dining tables category. Aim to leave the ends slightly free so the tapered, splayed legs remain clearly visible and expressive.

Maintaining long-term visual harmony

To ensure long-term decorative coherence around the CRYSTAL table, build your palette around its key trio: transparent glass, black metal, warm wood. Transparent or lightly tinted accessories on the tabletop will respect its airy character. Nearby, choose storage pieces in wood tones that echo the beam, while repeating black accents through chair frames, lamp bases or picture frames. As your needs evolve, you can reorient the table parallel to a sofa, or move it closer to the kitchen while keeping the same visual language. The glass top allows you to change rugs underneath—neutral, patterned or textured—without clashing. Wall colours from soft whites to earthy beiges and greys will support the mix, while one darker accent wall can pick up the black legs. Even if you update chairs over time, staying within this material triangle will keep the space feeling coherent and thoughtfully composed.
