Its cream-toned sphere, wrapped in antique-inspired cartography, glows from within to trace coastlines and borders with a gentle light. A dark wooden stand with three elegantly curved legs lifts the globe to eye level, echoing classic furniture silhouettes. The integrated castors remain discreet yet allow you to roll the globe from room to room whenever you change your layout. Both ambient lamp and decorative accent, EMILY ANTIQUE encourages daydreams of journeys while giving structure to your space with its vertical presence and timeless, library-like atmosphere. At its full height of around 106 cm, the 50 cm diameter globe is easy to consult while standing beside the dark wooden base.

Distinctive antique-inspired design

The EMILY ANTIQUE illuminated floor globe stands out through the interplay between its light sphere and deep-toned wooden base. The aged cream cartography, with subtle shading and refined typography, recalls historical maps without feeling heavy. A meridian ring frames the globe, visually guiding the eye along parallels and meridians while emphasizing the perfect roundness of the sphere. The three curved legs form a tripod that feels open and airy, joined by a circular stretcher that visually grounds the piece. Their flowing shape echoes classic furniture feet, making it easy to pair with heritage pieces, leather seating or dark wood side tables. Small castors at the bottom are barely visible, preserving the elegance of the design while adding mobility. When lit, the warm glow enhances the vanilla and golden-beige tones of the map, transforming the globe into a soft focal light point in the room.

Where to place your EMILY ANTIQUE globe

With its generous height and substantial diameter, the EMILY ANTIQUE floor globe naturally suits living areas and generous circulation spaces. In a living room, position it at the end of a sofa, leaving a little distance from the wall so the three curved legs remain visible and airy. In a home office, it can stand between bookcases or near a window, bringing a touch of character beside a simple desk. For a teenager’s room, place it close to the desk or a lounge chair, where it becomes both decorative backdrop and study companion. The integrated castors make it easy to move closer when you want to explore the map, then roll back to a corner when you need more space. Maintaining long-term decorative coherence

To ensure your EMILY ANTIQUE globe remains harmoniously integrated as your interior evolves, build a palette around its key tones. The cream sphere pairs beautifully with warm whites, greige, sand and linen hues, while the dark wooden base resonates with walnut, espresso and chocolate browns. Combine it with natural materials such as wood, rattan, wool and leather to reinforce a welcoming, library-like mood. Avoid crowding its immediate surroundings with low decorative pieces; allowing visual space around the base keeps the silhouette elegant and legible. Over time, you can effortlessly move the globe from living room to office or hallway without breaking the decorative thread, simply by repeating similar colours or wood finishes. Add framed maps or travel books sparingly nearby so the globe remains the central element, capable of adapting to new furniture arrangements and changing tastes.
