Beige swivel armchair HORTENSE collection

The beige HORTENSE swivel armchair instantly brings a soft, inviting presence to your living room. Its rounded backrest and armrests form a continuous curve around the generously sized seat, creating a cocooning effect while remaining visually light. The subtly textured light beige upholstery blends easily with neutral schemes, wooden furniture and bolder accent colours. With its 96 cm width and 87 cm depth, this swivel armchair is roomy enough for relaxed reading, yet compact enough to fit beside a sofa or near a window. The modest 73.5 cm height helps maintain open sightlines towards low sideboards or artwork, which is particularly useful in smaller spaces. Placed on a rug with a slim side table, the HORTENSE chair becomes a welcoming focal point for conversation or quiet moments. Used alone or combined with a matching model, it shapes a cosy corner where the armchair’s curved volume structures the room without overwhelming it.

A design that immediately catches the eye

The HORTENSE armchair stands out through its enveloping, almost sculptural silhouette. From the front, the wide circular seat appears framed by two wings that merge into a rounded back, emphasising softness and continuity. The low, hidden base subtly reveals the swivel function while giving the impression that the chair gently hovers above the floor. Its finely woven beige fabric reflects daylight, adding warmth and depth to the texture. Seen from an angle, the generous depth of the seat becomes apparent, together with the curve of the backrest rising to support the upper body. The absence of sharp lines or visible legs reinforces a calm, contemporary aesthetic that works beautifully with minimalist interiors. Next to a narrow side table and decorative vase, the chair’s full shape balances slender elements around it, creating a harmonious composition in the room.

Why choose this model for your home?

• Its generous circular seat and enveloping back create a welcoming swivel armchair, ideal for long evenings reading or talking in the living room.
• The light beige upholstery coordinates effortlessly with wood tones, neutral rugs and colourful cushions, making it easy to integrate into existing decoration schemes.
• Rounded lines soften rooms dominated by straight furniture, offering a visual counterpoint that immediately makes the overall atmosphere feel more relaxed.
• The discreet low base grounds the armchair without adding visual bulk, a real advantage when arranging compact apartments or open-plan living areas.
• Used as a pair facing a sofa, this swivel chair naturally structures the seating area and encourages conversation between guests from different angles.

In which room should you place this product?

The HORTENSE swivel armchair is a natural fit for the living room, positioned near a sofa, fireplace or television bench to complete your seating layout. Its modest height allows placement in front of a window or patio door without blocking views, which is helpful in bright apartments or compact lofts. In a bedroom, it can mark out a dressing or reading corner, teamed with a floor lamp, slim bookstand and compact side table. The chair also works well in a home office or snug, where its generous curves contrast nicely with angular desks, media units and shelving. For small spaces, angle the armchair slightly towards the room’s centre to keep circulation fluid while showcasing the rounded back. To explore coordinating pieces and other shapes, consult the Armchair category and choose models that echo its soft silhouette, beige tone and enveloping proportions.

An ideal choice for a statement interior

Selecting the HORTENSE swivel armchair means opting for a piece that quietly anchors the room through shape rather than through bold colour. Its enveloping volume immediately draws the eye, while the soft beige finish keeps the overall look calm and timeless. This balance makes it suitable for both contemporary and more classic settings, easily refreshed by changing cushions, throws or surrounding accessories. Placed slightly away from walls, the full curve of the back becomes visible and turns the armchair into an object you appreciate from every angle. The design encourages you to compose a more thoughtful seating arrangement, where each piece has enough space to breathe. Over time, the HORTENSE armchair can accompany different decorative phases, adapting to new rugs, side tables or wall colours without losing its visual relevance.
