Console table ORIENTE black with gold-toned fittings IXIA

The console table ORIENTE black with gold-toned fittings IXIA brings a striking graphic accent to a hallway or entrance wall. Its slim silhouette, high legs and shallow depth allow it to sit close to the wall while keeping circulation free and easy. Positioned by the front door, it creates a defined landing zone for keys, mail and a compact table lamp. The bold dialogue between the deep black finish and the circular Asian-inspired gold fittings turns this discreet piece into a genuine style statement. Fine inset geometric gold lines on the front echo the hardware and give the façade a refined, architectural rhythm. Whether your space is minimal, eclectic or quietly classic, this console quickly becomes the element that structures the view, guiding the eye along the wall and anchoring the decor without overwhelming the room.

Visual design and overall look

The console table ORIENTE black with gold-toned fittings IXIA stands out through its very slender proportions. The body of the console is compact and rectilinear, perched on four long black legs that release plenty of floor space and create a light, elevated effect. The rich black surface acts as a calm background for the circular gold-toned fittings placed at the centre of the doors, like ornamental medallions. These Asian-inspired round plates immediately draw attention and organise the front visually. Around them, discreet geometric gold lines are inlaid into the façade, forming a subtle frame that enhances the sense of geometry without clutter. Seen from the side, the shallow depth emphasises its role as a hallway piece, designed to hug the wall. The balance between dark planes, fine metallic accents and empty space gives the console a contemporary, almost gallery-like presence.

Why this console is a smart choice

• Shallow depth hugs the wall, offering useful surface space in hallways or entrances without intruding on everyday movement and flow.
• Striking contrast between black finish and gold-toned fittings creates an instant focal point, ideal for energising a plain or neutral wall.
• Asian-inspired circular hardware introduces a subtle exotic touch, adding character while remaining easy to pair with contemporary furnishings.
• High, slender legs keep the floor visible, preserving a sense of openness and making smaller spaces feel lighter and less crowded.
• Inset geometric gold lines structure the façade, providing a graphic link with other warm metallic accents like mirrors, lamps or picture frames.

Where and how to place this console

Thanks to its narrow profile, the console table ORIENTE black with gold-toned fittings IXIA is ideal for hallways, entrances and transition spaces that require finesse. Place it along a corridor to animate a long wall, paired with a linear artwork or a sequence of framed photos. In an entryway, position it beneath a mirror to form a practical welcome station, with a lamp, tray for keys and a small decorative object. Behind a sofa, it can act as a slim divider between living and dining zones. In a bedroom, it works as a discreet storage and display piece under a window. Maintaining long-term decorative harmony

The console table ORIENTE black with gold-toned fittings IXIA is an excellent anchor for a decor that can evolve gracefully. Its black base colour pairs well with grey, white, cream and warm wood tones, offering multiple directions for future rearrangements. You can echo its gold accents with a brass-framed mirror above, a lamp with a warm metal base or picture frames with subtle golden edges. Combine it with natural textures like rattan baskets, linen runners or wool rugs to soften its graphic character. Over time, the console can migrate from hallway to living room or bedroom while still harmonising with changing palettes, from monochrome schemes to richer jewel tones. Because its ornamentation is concentrated on the front, surrounding it with simple-lined furniture ensures it remains the quiet statement piece that ties the space together visually.
