The Floor lamp TUBO black Sompex is made to slip beside a low contemporary sofa, where its slim presence enhances the room’s vertical rhythm. Standing as a single dark line, it gives you focused light for reading or working without invading the view across the living area. The extremely thin black aluminium tube leads to a compact cylindrical head, angled to direct the beam precisely where you need it, whether that is a book, a laptop or a framed print. Its flat circular base disappears easily under the edge of a side table or close to the sofa leg, preserving generous circulation even in small apartments. In an open-plan space, the Floor lamp TUBO black Sompex can subtly mark out a reading corner or home office zone, giving structure through light rather than bulky furniture.
The Floor lamp TUBO black Sompex reveals a pure, almost graphic design built around a very slim vertical aluminium tube finished in deep black. This narrow cylinder rises from a flat circular foot, which anchors the composition while remaining visually quiet on the floor. The tall, fine tube looks like a drawn line in space, adding height without blocking sight lines in compact living rooms. At the top, a small cylindrical head tilts at an angle, giving the lamp a dynamic yet controlled expression as it aims the light. The contrast between the modest 3 cm diameter and the 120 cm height emphasises a sense of elevation, ideal for stretching low ceilings visually. The black finish links naturally with metal desk frames, dark coffee tables or black-framed artwork, letting the lamp integrate seamlessly into minimal, industrial or contemporary interiors.
With its 120 cm height and narrow 3 cm tube, the Floor lamp TUBO black Sompex is ideal for tight or carefully organised living spaces. Place it in the gap between sofa and wall, allowing the angled head to throw light down onto a side table or directly onto your book. Its 11.2 cm wide circular foot can tuck slightly under a sofa or next to a media unit, minimising visual clutter around the television area. In a home office corner, line it up with the leg of a metal desk so that its vertical rhythm echoes the furniture structure. For a reading nook, let the base slide beneath an armchair or light coffee table. If you are planning a broader scheme, explore our range of contemporary floor lamps to combine TUBO with other heights and light intensities in the same room.
The Floor lamp TUBO black Sompex offers a simple, adaptable shape that supports long-term decorative changes. Its black aluminium tube naturally coordinates with evolving colour palettes, whether you move from greys to warm beiges or introduce stronger accent tones like terracotta or petrol blue. Keep harmony by repeating its slim vertical motif: choose bookcases with fine uprights, chairs with narrow metal legs or wall shelves supported by thin brackets. As you rearrange furniture, TUBO can migrate from the living room to a study or guest room, retaining coherence thanks to its understated geometry and neutral finish. Pair it with natural textures such as oak, linen and wool to soften its graphic line, or with glass and black metal for a sharper look. Over time, this clear, minimal silhouette continues to frame corners with light without dictating a fixed decorative style.
