Coffee table RONDE black aluminium 80 × 79 cm IXIA

The Coffee table RONDE black aluminium 80 × 79 cm IXIA naturally slips into the heart of the living room, right in front of your main sofa. Its dark circular top becomes a quiet focal point where books, candles and trays can gather without cluttering the space. Placed on a soft rug, the table instantly outlines a welcoming island for everyday pauses and evening conversations. The slim, curved legs keep the floor visually open, so the table feels present yet never heavy. Its low profile invites relaxed lounging, making it easy to reach a cup of tea or a remote from any seat. Whether your interior is strictly contemporary or blends vintage and modern pieces, this black aluminium table offers a simple, graphic base that helps structure the room without competing with bolder colours or patterns around it.

A graphic, airy silhouette

The Coffee table RONDE is defined by its large, almost-black aluminium disc that forms the tabletop. The edge is fine and precise, tracing a clear circle that stands out against a lighter rug or flooring. The matt dark surface quietly absorbs light, allowing decorative objects, books or a bright vase to pop visually. Beneath this generous top, four slender legs descend with a gentle curve, giving the impression that the disc is hovering just above the floor. At ground level, the legs cross to form an open, lightweight structure, sketching a subtle geometric pattern that you notice when viewing the table from the side. The contrast between the wide round top and the delicate base creates a well-balanced piece: strong enough to anchor the seating area, yet visually light thanks to the negative space between the feet and under the tabletop.

Why this table deserves a place at home

• Round dark top creates a calm central point, ideal for gathering decorative objects and everyday essentials without overwhelming the living room.
• Slender curved legs with crossed base keep the floor visible, bringing an airy feeling that suits compact spaces and bright, open interiors.
• Generous diameter comfortably accommodates books, candles and serving trays while still leaving space free for a simple, striking centrepiece.
• Black aluminium and metal structure pair easily with fabric or leather sofas, patterned rugs and coloured accessories across different decorating styles.
• Low height encourages relaxed lounging positions, improving comfort when stretching out on the sofa or sitting on nearby poufs and armchairs.

Where this table works best

Thanks to its circular top and open structure, the Coffee table RONDE works beautifully in front of a straight or corner sofa, ideally centred on a rug that extends slightly beyond the seating. In a rectangular living room, use it to soften the strong lines of walls and furniture, creating a fluid circulation around the seating area. Leave enough space between the edge of the top and the sofa to move easily. In an open-plan room, the dark disc can act as a visual anchor separating lounge and dining areas without any partitions. For small flats, its airy base keeps the floor visible, helping the space feel larger. Ensuring long-term visual harmony

The black aluminium Coffee table RONDE offers a stable visual foundation around which your decor can evolve over the years. Its neutral dark top pairs effortlessly with light sofas in beige, cream or soft grey, while also supporting bolder colour choices like deep green, rust or navy in cushions and throws. Combine it with warm materials such as light wood sideboards, woven baskets or wool rugs to balance the cool, metallic character of the table. Over time, you can rearrange the seating or add accent chairs: the circular form will continue to connect the various elements, acting as a common denominator. Rotate accessories on the tabletop according to the season – sculptural objects, simple candles, stacked books – to refresh the room’s mood while the table itself remains a consistent, grounding presence.
