The Side table AVIO black oak Blomus is designed to slide effortlessly beside a sofa arm, between two lounge chairs or along a bedroom wall. Its slim, elongated top offers just enough surface for a lamp, a book and a few favourite objects while keeping the room visually open. The deep black oak finish grounds the piece, giving it a calm, graphic presence that complements both warm, cosy spaces and very minimal interiors. With its low profile, AVIO works particularly well next to low seating or chaise longues, where traditional side tables can look too bulky. The soft, rounded outlines of the tabletop invite the eye to linger without dominating the surrounding décor. Whether you place it in a living room, home office or guest room, this table quietly structures the space and becomes a visual link between different pieces of furniture.
The Side table AVIO black oak Blomus stands out with its distinctive top, composed of two rounded lobes separated by a narrow central gap. This split line cuts through the solid black oak, introducing lightness and a refined graphic rhythm. The softened, curved edges lend the piece a tactile, approachable look that contrasts with the intensity of the dark finish. Beneath the top, two angled legs flare outwards, tapering towards the floor to create a dynamic, almost floating impression. Their oblique position adds movement from every viewing angle while keeping the silhouette clean. The black oak finish subtly reveals the wood grain, bringing depth and gentle variations in tone instead of a flat, uniform surface. With its generous length, moderate width and low height, AVIO offers a harmonious balance between functional tabletop area and visual airiness in the room.
With its 80 cm length and 43 cm width, the Side table AVIO black oak Blomus is ideal as an end piece beside a linear sofa, where it can visually extend the seating while hosting a lamp and everyday objects. Place it between two armchairs to define a conversation area, aligning the central gap with the line between seats for a subtle visual cue. In the bedroom, its low 38 cm height makes it an elegant alternative to a classic bedside table or a slim table at the foot of the bed. In a home office, position AVIO along a wall near an armchair to serve as a landing spot for magazines and a small plant. To explore complementary models and build a coherent ensemble, consult our side table collection and vary heights while keeping walkways clear.
To maintain long-term decorative coherence with the Side table AVIO black oak Blomus, focus on a palette and materials that echo its graphic calm. The black oak finish pairs naturally with off-white, stone and warm grey textiles, which highlight its outline without creating harsh contrasts. Introduce a few accents in muted colours—forest green, rust, deep blue—through cushions or artwork to resonate with the table’s dark tone. Metal details in black or brushed steel on lighting and other furniture will mirror its legs’ visual sharpness. Over time, you can shift AVIO from living room to bedroom or office while preserving continuity: repeat black accents elsewhere and keep shapes streamlined. On the double-lobed top, alternate between minimal compositions and richer arrangements of books, ceramics or glass pieces to refresh the scene without disrupting the overall aesthetic language.
