Hammered gold aluminum side table with cut-out silhouette NOVAN

The NOVAN side table by Richmond Interiors stands out for its sculptural hollowed-out door-shaped silhouette, entirely crafted from hammered aluminium with a gold finish. This architectural cut-out, which runs right through the solid block, gives the table a distinctly artistic look that makes an immediate statement in a carefully styled interior. With a width of 40.5 centimetres, a depth of 29 centimetres and a height of 50.5 centimetres, NOVAN has compact proportions that allow it to sit just as easily beside a sofa as next to an armchair. This table embodies the idea of a sculptural occasional piece that combines function and art of living, a piece designed to bring character to an interior while remaining discreet in everyday use.

A design that immediately catches the eye

At first glance, the NOVAN table captivates with the hammered texture of its gold aluminium, which catches the light and brings each facet of its irregular surface to life. Its central door-shaped cut-out creates a play of light and shadow that runs through the piece, transforming a simple block into a true sculptural statement. This contrast between the mass of the material and the emptiness of the central opening gives NOVAN a presence that is both substantial and airy, a rare balance for a side table. With a net weight of 4.90 kilograms, this table remains surprisingly easy to handle despite its solid appearance, making it simple to move around as your layout changes. Its artisanal craftsmanship ensures attention to every detail, from the hammering of the aluminium to the gold finish throughout.

Which room should this product be placed in?

The NOVAN table naturally finds its place in a living room, where it becomes a sculptural piece in its own right, able to accompany a sofa or armchair while drawing the eye with its hollowed silhouette. In an entrance hall, it works as a functional art object, on which to place a catch-all tray or a bouquet, while immediately defining the décor identity of the space. In a bedroom, it can also serve as an original bedside table, bringing a golden sculptural touch beside the bed. Its gold tone works beautifully with light interiors, which it warms with its glow, as well as with darker spaces where it adds a striking point of light. Whether the interior is contemporary, glamorous or inspired by chic hotel style, this NOVAN table fits in with equal ease thanks to its sculptural and timeless silhouette.

An ideal choice for a bold décor

Investing in a table like NOVAN means choosing a sculptural piece designed to last, far removed from standardised side tables that lack character. Its fully aluminium structure ensures long-lasting quality, an essential criterion for a piece of furniture intended to become a focal point in the home. The hammered texture, chosen for both its relief and its timeless appeal, transcends trends without ever looking dated and continues to bring character to the room years after installation. This is not just a side table, but a true functional art piece capable of structuring a space with elegance. Its sculptural cut-out, combined with quality materials, also makes it a practical as well as decorative choice for any interior. By playing on the contrast between mass and emptiness, this NOVAN table stands out as a lasting décor investment, for an interior that reflects a certain art of living, where every detail matters.
