Marble clay sofa side table iron structure FAIRFAX

The FAIRFAX sofa side table by Richmond Interiors adopts a C-shaped silhouette designed to slide directly under the seat of a sofa, thus offering an easy-to-reach side surface without taking up floor space. Its square clay marble top rests on a slim iron frame, creating an ensemble that is both practical and refined. Measuring 45 centimetres wide, 40 centimetres deep and 67 centimetres high, this FAIRFAX table is positioned at exactly the right height to sit alongside a sofa armrest. This table embodies the idea of a smart side piece that combines function and character, a piece designed to structure a living room with elegance while simplifying everyday life.

A design that immediately catches the eye

At first glance, the FAIRFAX table captivates with the contrast between its square clay marble top, with its natural, ever-changing veining, and its slim, discreet C-shaped frame that slides under the sofa with ease. This architectural silhouette, designed as much for function as for aesthetics, proves that a practical piece of furniture can also be a statement piece. The square top with clean edges brings a contemporary touch that sets FAIRFAX apart from side tables with more classic shapes. With a net weight of 10.10 kilograms, this table has a reassuring presence and good stability, an asset for a piece intended to hold a book, a cup or a remote control every day. Its handcrafted production guarantees attention to every detail, from the bending of the frame to the polishing of the marble.

Which room should this product be installed in?

The FAIRFAX table naturally finds its place in a living room, slid under the armrest of a sofa to provide a practical surface within easy reach without taking up floor space. It is particularly suitable for smaller living rooms, where every square metre counts, adding extra functionality without creating visual clutter. Next to an armchair for reading, it also becomes an ideal support for placing a lamp or a book. Its clay tone pairs beautifully with light-coloured sofas that it gently extends, but also with seating in more assertive shades where it brings a warm mineral contrast. Whether the interior is contemporary, classic or inspired by chic hotel style, this FAIRFAX table blends in with equal ease thanks to its refined and functional silhouette.

An ideal choice for a bold interior scheme

Investing in a table like FAIRFAX means choosing a refined piece designed to last, far from standardised side tables that lack character. Its iron frame ensures lasting quality over time, an essential criterion for a piece of furniture intended for everyday use next to a sofa. The marble, chosen as much for its tone as for its natural veining, transcends trends without ever looking dated and continues to bring character to the room years after installation. This is not just a side table, but a truly clever solution capable of combining function and elegance. Its C-shaped silhouette, combined with quality materials, also makes it a practical as well as decorative choice for any interior. By playing on the contrast between clay marble and a slim frame, this FAIRFAX table stands out as a lasting decorative investment, for a living room that reflects a certain art of living, where every detail matters.
