Large cream IXIA four-seat sofa with paired cushions

The longer IXIA sofa sets two broad cream seat cushions beneath two substantial back cushions. Smaller cushions soften each end, and short dark feet mark the pale base. IXIA specifies a polyester and linen cover, double-feather seat filling and removable zippered covers for seat, back and side cushions. Dry cleaning is recommended.

Design and materials

The join between the two seats gives this long front a measured centre. Low square arms contain the softer cushions without making a high barrier across the room. The short dark feet provide a small contrast at floor level, while seams and folds bring depth to the cream fabric.

Why choose this sofa?

• Two seat cushions pace the long front.
• The back stays visually low.
• Side cushions soften the arms.
• Cream brightens a spacious living room.
• Dark feet punctuate the base.

Where should it go?

Give the sofa enough space for both seat cushions to remain visible. A large rug can hold the sitting area together; two smaller tables may leave the middle of the sofa clearer than one heavy table. Check the overall dimensions before placing it near a window or a walkway.

A considered interior choice

Let the paired seats and back cushions set the rhythm. Dark timber can echo the feet, while restrained ceramics keep the palette calm. The supplier photograph includes a table and plants as styling only. IXIA confirms removable cushion covers, without saying that the upholstered base can be removed.
