IXIA cream two-seat sofa with layered seat cushion

The defining detail of this IXIA two-seat sofa is visible at the front: the cream seat reads as two cushions stacked in depth. Two broad back cushions sit above it between fabric-covered arms. Loose cover folds and cushion seams soften the straight frame. IXIA confirms cotton and linen upholstery, a pine structure, foam and feather filling, removable covers and a dry-cleaning recommendation.

Design and materials

The upper seat cushion projects slightly over the lower layer, creating a strong horizontal relief without adding colour. Fabric falls near the floor and gathers around the arm joins. From the studio views, the sofa looks calm but not perfectly rigid.

Why choose this sofa?

• Two layers give the seat depth.
• Cream reveals soft cover folds.
• Two backs rise over the arms.
• Fabric sides frame the silhouette.
• A slim table keeps the layers visible.

Where should it go?

Choose a light table on slender legs so the layered seat remains visible. Against an ivory wall, a rug with more texture prevents the cream base from disappearing. Leave room in front and use the technical measurements to plan circulation.

A considered interior choice

Timber, stone and quiet ceramics can provide variation without covering the cushion structure. A lamp to one side catches the seams. The studio photographs show the sofa alone; follow IXIA's instructions when cleaning its removable covers.
