Sompex PINE black tree lamp 100 cm

The Sompex PINE black tree lamp 100 cm transforms the classic festive tree into a slim, contemporary line drawing of light. Placed on a long sideboard in the living room, it acts like a vertical punctuation mark against the wall, instantly structuring the space. Its 100 cm height gives it a sculptural presence, yet the open triangular frame keeps the lamp visually light and airy. The inner edge is traced by LEDs, outlining a stylised tree that feels graphic rather than decorative. When switched off, the black aluminium frame reads as a minimalist object, almost like a metal sketch. When illuminated, a precise halo follows the triangle, ideal for evenings, seasonal settings or simply adding depth to a neutral corner. This is a piece for those who prefer clean lines and discreet atmosphere rather than overloaded ornaments and figurative Christmas decor.

Graphic appearance and visual impact

The Sompex PINE black tree lamp 100 cm stands out through its tall open triangle that instantly evokes a tree without any branches or details. A slim black aluminium frame draws this outline with clarity, leaving the centre completely empty so the wall behind remains visible. Along the inner edge runs the LED strip, producing a continuous band of light that mirrors the triangular contour. Two short black stems extend downwards to meet a flat rectangular base, also black, which visually anchors the whole structure without adding bulk. The overall composition feels carefully balanced: a broad triangle perched on a discreet foot, connected by fine verticals. The contrast between the dark frame and the bright internal glow emphasises the graphic character, almost like a luminous sketch hovering in front of the wall, equally appealing lit or unlit.

Why this lamp is worth choosing

• Striking tree silhouette with clean geometric lines, perfect for a modern, understated take on seasonal or winter-inspired decoration.
• Open triangular frame keeps sightlines clear, making it suitable even for narrow consoles, window sills or compact apartment living rooms.
• Inner LED contour creates a crisp luminous outline, adding gentle ambiance without flooding the room with overpowering brightness or glare.
• Black aluminium frame pairs effortlessly with wood, concrete or monochrome interiors, enhancing existing furniture rather than competing with it.
• Impressive 100 cm height gives sculptural presence on a sideboard or low cabinet, while the flat base sits unobtrusively along the wall.

Where this tree lamp works best

The Sompex PINE black tree lamp 100 cm thrives wherever a wall needs structure and a touch of graphic light. On a hallway console, it becomes a welcoming vertical accent that guides the eye along the passage. In the living room, set it at one end of a sideboard or media unit, where its triangular outline can echo the shape of framed art above. It also works beautifully on a dining-room buffet, serving as a seasonal focal point surrounded by just a few simple objects so its silhouette remains dominant. In a bedroom, position it on a low chest of drawers to create a soft, atmospheric glow instead of a traditional bedside lamp. To coordinate this piece with other lighting, explore our curated range of contemporary table lamps and build layered, coherent illumination across the room.

Maintaining long-term decorative harmony

To ensure the Sompex PINE black tree lamp 100 cm remains relevant in your interior over time, focus on its essential qualities: linear geometry and contrast. Its slim black aluminium outline sits comfortably alongside other simple shapes, such as rectangular mirrors, low benches and slender shelves. Pair it with light walls for a strong visual contrast, or with mid-tone greys for a subtler, more muted look. Surrounding materials like pale wood, black metal, smoked glass or matte ceramics will echo its contemporary language without overpowering it. As you update cushions, rugs or art from season to season, the lamp can keep its place, acting as a constant graphic anchor. Even if you rearrange furniture, its tall, narrow footprint makes it easy to move from sideboard to console while preserving a consistent, thoughtfully composed atmosphere.
