Sompex LUCY chrome star lamp 33 cm

The Sompex LUCY chrome star lamp 33 cm turns a simple sideboard into a small stage of light. This open five-pointed star, outlined by a slim illuminated frame and resting on a low rectangular base, works beautifully on a hallway console, a windowsill or the corner of a TV unit. Its clear, graphic silhouette creates a strong focal point while remaining visually light, so nearby books, vases or picture frames still have space to breathe. At around 33 cm high, it is compact enough to tuck under shelves or in front of artwork without blocking the view. The chrome finish catches surrounding colours and reflections, giving the lamp a lively, ever-changing presence. In a living room, bedroom or workspace, this decorative table lamp brings a gentle glow that suits both cosy evenings and more festive moments throughout the year.

Star-shaped design with chrome clarity

The Sompex LUCY chrome star lamp 33 cm features a precise five-point star, as if drawn in one continuous, confident line. Its metal frame is very slim, forming a clear outline while leaving the centre completely open so the wall or background decor remains visible. The chrome surface is smooth and shiny, subtly mirroring nearby colours, furniture and light sources, which gives the star a dynamic appearance depending on where you stand. The long, low rectangular base keeps the overall silhouette grounded yet unobtrusive, ensuring the star itself remains the focus. With proportions of roughly 33 cm in height and 34 cm in width, the lamp spans horizontally without looking bulky, perfect for visually anchoring a decorative arrangement while still allowing other objects to share the scene comfortably. Its slim open frame, standing 33 cm high and about 34 cm wide, reads almost like a chrome sketch against the wall, tracing a crisp outline without visually closing off the space.

Why this star lamp stands out

• Open star outline creates a crisp, graphic light shape that accents plain walls or minimal furniture without visually weighing down the space.
• Chrome finish subtly reflects surroundings, adding depth and movement so the lamp feels different as daylight and viewing angles change.
• Compact 33 cm height fits easily on consoles, narrow shelves or window ledges, ideal where you want presence without taking over.
• Low rectangular base sits neatly on many surfaces, keeping the footprint discreet while showcasing the geometric star form above.
• Timeless five-point star motif that transitions naturally from festive seasonal styling to everyday decorative lighting throughout the year.

Best spots for your LUCY lamp

Thanks to its slender silhouette and narrow base, the Sompex LUCY chrome star lamp 33 cm can slip into places where depth is limited. On a hallway console, position it slightly off-centre beside a shallow bowl and a vertical mirror to create a welcoming light composition. On a windowsill, let the star sit in front of the glass so its outline contrasts against the outdoor view, while the interior light traces its shape. In the living room, it works especially well on a sideboard, paired with framed black-and-white photos, or next to a television where its chrome echoes the screen and electronics. In a bedroom, place it on a dresser to introduce a soft, decorative glow. Lasting visual harmony at home

The Sompex LUCY chrome star lamp 33 cm is an easy anchor for a lighting scheme that can evolve over time. Its chrome finish pairs naturally with other silver-toned metals, brushed steel or nickel, but also contrasts pleasantly with warm woods such as oak or beech to soften its graphic presence. Surround it with simple, clean-lined accessories: transparent glass candleholders, slim black frames or matte white vases. Because the star’s centre is open, decorative arrangements never feel overcrowded; you can move books, plants or seasonal objects around it without breaking the composition. During winter and festive periods, layer it with garlands or evergreen branches; the rest of the year, team it with understated pieces for a more graphic, contemporary feel. In this way, colour accents and layouts can change while the star lamp continues to tie the scene together visually.
