Table lamp CHARGE concrete and gold Sompex

The Table lamp CHARGE concrete and gold Sompex brings a bold, architectural note to even the smallest surface. Its compact cylindrical base in soft grey concrete supports a bright gold-toned upper band, crowned by a fully exposed round bulb. On a hallway console it becomes an immediate focal point, guiding the eye and setting a warm tone as soon as you enter. The low height means it fits easily on a narrow side table, bookshelf edge or media unit without blocking sightlines. The contrast between raw mineral concrete and luminous gold gives character to contemporary, industrial or pared-back interiors alike. This lamp celebrates the bare bulb: depending on the decorative bulb you choose, the mood can shift from cozy to graphic or intimate, always centred on this striking concrete-and-gold duo.

Visual design and atmosphere

The Table lamp CHARGE concrete and gold Sompex stands out through its radically simple silhouette: a straight cylinder topped by a perfectly visible round bulb. The grey concrete base is smooth and regular, visually grounding the lamp and giving it weight on a shelf or table despite its small footprint. Above it, a wide gold-toned band wraps the top section, sharply contrasting with the mineral surface below. This metallic ring catches light and reflects soft, warm glints even when the lamp is switched off. The bulb sits like a glass sphere on the cylinder, completely unobstructed by any shade, so the filament design and globe shape become true features. Together they form a short, well-balanced vertical accent that works beautifully to punctuate a line of objects, mark the end of a sideboard or animate a quiet corner.

Why choose this lamp

• Striking contrast between grey concrete and bright gold band creates an instant focal point on otherwise understated consoles, shelves or bedside tables.
• Compact cylindrical format slips easily onto narrow ledges and corners, adding a warm glow without visually overcrowding your existing decorative arrangement.
• Fully exposed bulb design highlights decorative filaments, letting you tailor the atmosphere simply by changing bulb style, size or glass tint.
• Minimal, contemporary look bridges industrial, Scandinavian and modern interiors, helping different furniture styles coexist harmoniously in one room.
• Concrete base offers a visually solid anchor that balances the reflective gold accent, ideal for structuring small spaces with limited decorative elements.

Where to place it

Because of its modest height and slender base, the Table lamp CHARGE concrete and gold Sompex excels wherever space is tight. On a hallway console, place it slightly off-centre to keep room for keys and mail, while still creating a welcoming pool of light. In the living room, it works perfectly on a side table beside the sofa, or at the end of a media unit to soften the outline of the screen. In a bedroom, it suits narrow bedside tables or even a simple wall shelf used as a nightstand. You can also group it with other pieces from the table lamp collection at staggered heights to build a layered lighting scheme. On a desk, position it between monitor and wall to reduce harsh contrast and introduce a warmer, more inviting work atmosphere.

Long-term decorative coherence

The lasting appeal of this lamp lies in the timeless pairing of soft grey concrete and radiant gold. To build long-term coherence, treat the concrete base as a neutral anchor: it pairs naturally with oak tops, light woods, white walls and textured textiles like linen or bouclé. The gold band can then be echoed subtly through frames, small bowls or hardware in similar warm metallic tones. As you rearrange your rooms over time, the compact shape moves effortlessly from desk to bedside, from shelf to console, without losing relevance. Adjusting only the decorative bulb and nearby accessories allows you to refresh the mood while keeping the concrete-and-gold combination as a visual thread, ensuring the lamp continues to tie together evolving colours and furniture choices. With its modest hoogte van circa 14 cm en slanke diameter van ongeveer 8 cm blijft de lamp visueel licht, zodat ze tussen boeken, vazen of fotostapels kan staan zonder druk of rommelig aan te voelen.
