Extendable dining table IXIA beige marble-look ceramic and black legs

The extendable dining table IXIA beige marble-look ceramic and black legs is designed to become the central feature of a modern dining area. Placed lengthwise in the middle of the room, it naturally structures the space with its generous rectangular top and striking angular base. In its 180 cm configuration, it comfortably hosts everyday family meals or work sessions without dominating the room. When extended, it stretches to welcome larger gatherings, giving everyone adequate space along the pale beige surface. The subtle grey veining of the ceramic lends a refined, stone-like look that feels bright yet calm. Beneath the top, the black metal legs arrange themselves in a branching, angled composition, giving the table a dynamic, architectural character. This strong contrast between light top and dark base makes the table easy to coordinate with many chair styles and colours, turning it into a versatile anchor point for both casual and more formal moments.

Visual design and overall style

The IXIA extendable dining table stands out through its long, rectangular ceramic top in a soft beige marble-look finish, animated by fine grey veins. These discreet lines create a natural, mineral impression, avoiding any overly glossy or busy effect. The extension seam sits centrally along the length of the top, remaining visually subtle so the marble pattern reads as a continuous surface. The pale tone of the ceramic reflects light, making the table feel airy even with its generous dimensions. Underneath, black metal legs converge and splay outwards in angled branches, forming a graphic base that contrasts with the calm of the top. Their oblique lines add movement, almost like a stylised trestle, while leaving the long sides visually open. The balanced 90 cm width and extended length options give the table a sleek, elongated profile, ideal for framing place settings, centrepieces and elongated runners with a contemporary flair.

Where and how to place this table

With its 180 cm starting length, the IXIA extendable dining table suits medium to large dining rooms or open-plan living spaces. Aim to keep comfortable clearance around the table so chairs can slide back comfortably and circulation remains fluid. In a rectangular room, align the table with a central pendant light and position it parallel to the longest wall for visual harmony. The 90 cm width is generous enough for serving dishes and decorative centrepieces, yet compact enough to fit between a kitchen and lounge area in an open space. For dedicated dining rooms, pair the table with a sideboard along the wall, leaving the table floating in front. When you extend it to 260 cm for gatherings, shift it slightly towards the centre of the room. Maintaining long-term decorative coherence

To build a long-lasting, coherent scheme around the IXIA table, start by echoing its pale beige and black palette in the surrounding furnishings. Sideboards or shelves in warm wood tones, such as walnut or smoked oak, complement the marble-look top and soften the contrast with the legs. Rugs in sand, stone or soft grey shades will pick up the veining while grounding the dining zone. For chairs, you might mix black metal frames with upholstered seats in beige, taupe or muted terracotta to introduce warmth without clashing with the top. Wall colours ranging from crisp white to greige will frame the table discreetly. Over time, you can rearrange the room by moving the table’s orientation or updating textiles, artwork and decorative objects, using the table’s light-and-dark pairing as your guiding thread for future additions.
