Console table Gloria glass and chrome KARE Design

The Console table Gloria glass and chrome KARE Design turns a simple passageway into a composed, almost gallery-like scene. Its long, clear glass top rests on two folded chrome columns that narrow at the waist and widen again towards the floor, giving the piece a sculptural presence without visual heaviness. Placed in a hallway, behind a sofa or along a dining room wall, it keeps the space open while offering a practical surface for keys, a lamp or decorative objects. The transparency of the glass lets flooring and wall colour remain visible, while the mirrored bases pick up nearby shapes and light. This console quietly frames everyday routines: setting down a bag when you arrive home, arranging a vase for seasonal flowers, highlighting favourite books or glassware. It is a statement piece designed to underline a wall, define an entrance or subtly separate zones in an open-plan interior.

Striking, reflective design

Seen from the front, the Console table Gloria glass and chrome KARE Design presents a slim, rectangular slab of clear glass, visually floating above the floor. The top is supported by two chrome bases shaped like folded columns, their surfaces gleaming and mirror-like. Each base cinches inward at the centre, introducing a graceful tension, then flares outward again into broad feet that anchor the console firmly on the ground. The polished chrome reflects skirting boards, rugs and adjacent furniture, constantly changing its character with the room’s lighting. From the side, the console appears light and streamlined, the transparent top barely interrupting the view. The generous 140 cm length gives it real presence along a wall, while the moderate depth keeps it easy to walk around. The play between straight horizontal lines and the sculpted inward curves of the bases makes the overall silhouette both architectural and fluid.

Why this console stands out

• Clear glass top keeps visual weight low, ideal for narrow hallways or bright rooms where you want to preserve an airy atmosphere.
• Folded chrome column bases introduce sculptural interest, adding movement and reflection without relying on ornament or excessive detailing.
• Generous length creates an impactful focal point for styling lamps, books or seasonal decor while still fitting comfortably along most standard walls.
• Mirrored surfaces subtly echo nearby colours and shapes, allowing the console to coordinate effortlessly with many existing furniture pieces and finishes.
• Comfortable height for placing bags, keys and decorative accessories, making it equally suited to an entrance, living room back wall or sofa back.

Where to place the Gloria console

With its 140 cm length and 45 cm depth, the Console table Gloria glass and chrome KARE Design works particularly well in hallways with a bit of breathing room. Against an entrance wall, it immediately creates a welcoming landing spot: add a bowl for keys, a slender table lamp and a round mirror above to complete the composition. In a wide corridor, the console draws a clear line without crowding circulation, the transparent top and open chrome bases keeping the route visually free. Behind a large sofa, the piece helps structure the living area, offering a ledge for books or glassware without blocking the view. You can also align it with a picture wall in the dining room, echoing the horizontal line of frames. Maintaining long-term visual harmony

To ensure the Console table Gloria glass and chrome KARE Design remains a cohesive element as your interior evolves, build a consistent language of reflections and clean lines around it. Its clear top and chrome columns naturally complement black or metallic picture frames, frameless mirrors and lighting with polished accents. Combine it with a simple upholstered bench or a discreet rug to add softness without distracting from its graphic structure. Because the chrome bases mirror their surroundings, subtle changes such as new wall colours, art or vases will refresh the ensemble without clashing. Avoid clustering heavy, opaque furniture too close; instead, favour a few lighter pieces that allow its sculptural supports to stay visible. Whether you eventually shift it from hall to living room or behind a sofa, this console can remain a central visual anchor that ties evolving decorating choices together.
